So, I mentioned that hugging handspun yarn could make your day yesterday. I think hoarding indie dyed sock yarn comes in a close second to that. Notice that you need not know how to use either yarn for it to imbue delight. Quaere Fibre is full of delightful yarn to enjoy!
This giveaway yarn is called "Chocolate Kisses" but you can see, it's much more on the kisses side, than the chocolate. I love it! Well, there isn't much in the entire Quaere Fibre shop that I don't love!
If you'd like a chance to win this sock yarn, please visit Quaere Fibre today, find something you love, and write about it in the comment section below. We'll count your social networking about this as extra entries- just let us know where you spread the word!

Maybe you're not having a great day... maybe you're having a wonderful day- either way, I know how to make it better! Hugging Handspun Yarn. I have had several years of anecdotal evidence that supports this theory. Here is an opportunity for you to put this idea to the test- Gloria Patre is having a handspun yarn sale! Monica of Gloria Patre has over 50 listings in her handspun yarn section at the time of this posting and they are all on sale! Click through to Gloria Patre to check them out!
This particular squishy goodness is a wool, alpaca, angelina, corriedale, silk, and lincoln handspn that measures a whopping 245 yards of bulky yarn. It's ready to be loved, people!!
If you'd like a chance at winning this lovely, please visit Gloria Patre today, find something you love and write about it in the comment section below. To gain extra entries, simply share this on your favorite online social network and let us know you've done it.

Well, there is nothing like a 90 degree day with 90% humidity that can drive me indoors and have me pouring over knitting patterns :). I love the blue of this "John Smith" worsted weight yarn from Brazen Stitchery! I can definitely see a pair of mittens, or hat made with this!
There is a lot to explore and discover in the Brazen Stitchery etsy shop! I'm currently crushing on her "Northman" sock yarn- so dark and moody! Love it!

Would you agree, that part of what makes visiting the Hilltop Cloud Etsy shop a wonderful experience is the strong sense of place you feel when you click through? I just love it when I find a shop where I can buy something from a real place, a real person, who made something with real hands.
With Hilltop Cloud there is so much to choose from, too! All of the products seem to have cohesive earthy tones, and natural textures to them. I can see how most everything could probably be used together in a project. This is one of the beautiful things about purchasing materials from a particular artist- their sensibilities tend to shine through in their work- and I consider this a very good thing!
If you'd like to enter to win this set of beautiful "Crocus" batts, please visit Hilltop Cloud today, find something you love, and write about it in the comment section below here. We'll be counting extra social networking as entries, so get your twitter/facebook/pinterest/google+ going!

Whatever words I come up with to describe this Inglenook Fibers batt, are going to be inadequate. It's beautiful. It makes me think of a painting, the colors just work so well together! If this was mine, I think it would be one of those batts I would "save" for a while and savor every minute spinning it!
Upon visiting the Inglenook Fiber Shop, I am literally salivating over the gorgeously dyed silk available! So may colors, so little time!!
To enter to win this giveaway, I'm going to ask you to choose one item from the Inglenook Fibers Etsy shop, and mention it below. I was going to say "choose your favorite" but, that might be too difficult (it is for me this Monday!). We'll give you extra entries if you share on your favorite social platform!

It's been a while since we've featured Rebel Yarn on the blog! I'm always happy to do so, because it gives me an excuse to visit her Etsy shop! We've got a special giveaway today with this gorgeous Melanie-dyed lace yarn and specially written for Rebel Yarn shawl pattern called "Diamonds and Diagonals by Kuduja!
You can tell that Rebel Yarn is run by a knitter of lace! I feel like knitted lace is best shown using semi-solids, like the ones Melanie stocks in her shop. Sometimes, there is enough going on with the stitches without needing any added color interest.
If you'd like to be entered to win this beautiful lavender lace yarn and pattern, please visit Rebel Yarn today, find something you love, and write about it in the comment section below. Every time you share this on a different social network, you can let us know in the comments and gain an extra entry!

We could all use a little rainbow in our lives :) Mama Jude's Plant Dyed stuff has some of the prettiest rainbows in all the land! And- they're plant dyed! That just amazes me! I've never tried to dye using mordants and plants and it all seems to be more art and less science to me.
The shop just got back from vacation mode, but I know there will be more items listed with in the next few weeks. It's a good time to add Mama Jude's to your shop favorites list and check back regularly!
If you would like to enter to win this beautiful rainbow dyed worsted weight wool yarn, please visit MamaJude's Plant Dyed Stuff today!
