Hey! Awesome box. Fingers crossed. In the meantime, yep, calaveras are skulls. Calaveritas are little skulls, in the same way that my name has always been made into Sarita rather than Sarah - "Little Sarah." As for celebrating el dia, Nov. 1 always means a huge festival in Austin. If you ever want reason to head to the borderlands on the South side of things, Mexican-American culture is hugely represented here. As for visiting someone's burial site, I don't know. I think a personal invitation to celebrate the day of remembrance with the family members of someone you knew well would be a great honor. It's a really happy affair, bringing favorite food and drinks and dancing and singing favorite songs of those passed. The festival encompasses all of it, though, from alters to food to costumes, so it's not necessarily all in the cemetery. Also, that art batt at the end of video 1 is incredible. And the back and forth between you two is hilarious. I laughed so hard I could have gone into labor and not been surprised. One last thing, YES, neon really is EVERYWHERE, especially when combined with neutrals.
