Bitsy Knits Carded Batt Giveaway!

Bitsy has a new carder! I think it must be a special magical carder to create batts as soft as these!! This one is called "Fall in Sonoma". It has SW Merino, Seacell, Corriedale and viscose in it. Delicious!

I knit Bitsy's "Jenna" Shawl for my Mother last year for Christmas. It was my first beaded lace project and Bitsy's pattern was perfect for dipping my toes in. I actually really loved it! The lace pattern was easily memorized too. I used Bitsy's lace yarn, and it was all around a lovely project and one of My Mom's favorite shawls.

We're giving away this beautiful batt! Please visit Bitsy Knits today, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll draw for a winner very soon, so hurry and get those social networking tweets, updates, plurks etc! We'll count them as extra entries!

My uncontrolled lust for rich colours is on show again. My little heart beat harder for the merino sock yarn in PEACOCK. Don't know what I'd do with it though. Maybe just hang it on the wall and gaze at the pretty. :-D

Just one thing to love? But, too much! If I had to choose I think I'd say the Blue Morpho sock yarn is winning me over, but maybe that's just because I recently discovered the joys of sock yarn.

Carded Roving "Black Velvet Apricot". First of all, it reminds me of the song "Black Velvet" which I love! Secondly, there's so much energy in these colours, the combination is very potent and incites strong emotion. I think it would make anyone feel special to wear something made out of it.

I am new to this blog and to Phat Ribers, in fact I am a relatively new spindle spinner. The Fall in Sonoma batt is so lovely and it does look remarkably soft. The description of the colors sounds even better!
